Wax Seal on Ribbon Belly Band - Tutotial
Wax seals on a ribbon belly band is a trend that is sweeping the wedding industry, but this beautiful technique is not as easy as it looks (unfortunately, I have had to learn the hard way!). But after doing this for years as a professional wedding stationer, I’ve learned a few tips and tricks along the way to make the entire process pretty seamless and even enjoyable!
Wax seals are their own therapy, you know!
I actually have TWO video tutorials for you today. In the first, I dive in depth into creating wax seals over ribbon on wedding invitations with all of my favorite tips and some updated terminology that should give more clarity than my original video.
The second video is actually my first wax seals on ribbon belly band video. However, in this video I dive into a few different techniques, depending on the style of wedding invitation that you are going for and the type of ribbon or twine that you are using to wrap your invitation with. I think you’ll find both helpful, though I confess, I’m more satisfied with my more recent video (the new one listed first):
